TLM Technologies to launch powerful EPOS at National Convenience Show

UK’s leading trade event will for the first time showcase the latest innovative EPOS solution for convenience and fuel retail

April 2018 – TLM Technologies (TLM) will launch its next-generation EPOS solution evoPOS® exclusively at National Convenience Show at the NEC (16-18 April).

Built specifically for convenience and fuel retailers, this innovative technology is now on general release. It marks a major advancement in the choice of EPOS technology available to retailers in this sector. With so much focus on convenience stores and forecourts creating a connected POS, having the right EPOS systems in place will be critical to ensuring the very best in-store experience is offered and retailers are prepared for a fast-moving future.

In development for 18 months following true retailer collaboration, the resulting technology can be seamlessly integrated into retail outlets, both across single and multi-sited companies. This is due to its compatablity with the most commonly used solutions, such as Oracle, whose software is no longer being developed for the sector.

A further selling point of evoPOS is that thanks to the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model it works on, retailers have access to the technology on a pay monthly basis, therefore avoiding unwelcomed upfront costs commonly associated with new technology acquisition. It also offers a host of exciting native functionality on day one, including a smartphone app, self-scan, mobile pay, and a powerful promotions engine that guarantees the customer always gets the best deal in their basket while avoiding costly double discounting so common in current EPOS systems.

Showcased for the first time at National Convenience Show, visiting retailers will be able to watch a series of demonstrations on the TLM stand, with representatives on hand to explain the innovative system. Signing up on the spot will give retailers the advantage of a 10% early bird discount, meaning they can start using evoPOS from as little as £999.

Lee Papper, Chief Executive at TLM Technologies said: “evoPOS has been created on modern open standards, which ensures that we can develop the software quickly and enable retailers to seamlessly connect with a host of best-in-class third party apps and services including loyalty, social marketing and customer feedback, unlike existing systems.

“I believe that what we have created not only measures up to what the market needs but is completely changing the game on what retailers can expect from the technology solutions powering their business and we are excited to unveil our achievements at National Convenience Show.”

The National Convenience Show is co-located with four other events – The Ingredients Show, Foodex, the Farm Shop & Deli Show and Food & Drink Expo. Almost 1,500 suppliers will converge at the NEC from across the whole food and drink supply chain, offering outstanding networking and product identifying opportunites.
