Visit National Convenience Show and be in with the chance of winning a car with TLM Technologies

UK’s leading trade event will showcase the latest EPOS solution with an innovative Renault Twizy up for grabs

March 2018 – TLM Technologies, the technology and support provider to convenience and fuel, will mark the launch of its innovative new EPOS system, evoPOS at the National Convenience Show (16-18 April) by giving away a brand new car worth £8,000.

evoPOS® is the latest software application in TLM’s world-class evolution technology suite to help convenience and fuel retailers run their businesses including systems for EPOS, back office and head office. The innovative next-generation solution has been developed to modernise retailers’ EPOS systems ready for the digital era and is compatible with both Oracle Prism2 and Iridium2 - the two most commonly used older systems, meaning retailers can effortlessly make the switch.

This new system also stands out from the crowd in the way it is purchased. It is the first EPOS delivered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution that is charged on a monthly basis, in contrast to the traditional one upfront cost outlay retailers will be used to. There will be a series of demonstrations on the TLM stand, with representatives happy to take visitors through the ground-breaking system. Convenience and forecourt retailers attending the National Convenience Show will be invited to sign up to take advantage of a 10% early bird discount, meaning they can start using evoPOS from as little as £999. Any customers who purchase during the show will then be automatically entered into a prize draw to win the Renault Twizy.

Chosen as a car equal in innovation to evoPOS, one lucky retailer will be chosen at random after the show and gifted a Twizy, liveried with their own logo and TLM branding. The compact eye-catching quadricycle car is electric with zero emissions in use. It seats up to two people and comes with a price tag of £8,000.

TLM will showcase this revolutionary car in the National Convenience Show hall at the NEC. Lee Papper, Chief Executive said: “evoPOS sets a new benchmark for what convenience and fuel retailers can expect from their EPOS system.  It’s essentially future-ready thanks to rich native functionality, rapid new feature development and the chance to connect with all sorts of other apps and services retailers desire.  It delivers all the ingredients necessary to successfully trade in a modern digital retail environment.

“The Twizy reflects the same out-of-the-box thinking we’ve brought to EPOS with evoPOS and we are excited to show people how it works at the National Convenience Show, as well as choose one lucky winner who will be able to enjoy a brand new environmentally-friendly and bespoke-branded car.”

Dan Eversfield from the National Convenience Show added: “The new system from TLM Technologies has moved the goal posts when it comes to EPOS and we want to show our visitors ways to make their businesses more integrated, profitable and easier in general. TLM will be bringing the car into the show and anyone from these sectors will be in with the chance to win. The 2018 edition of the National Convenience Show offers a one-stop shop that enables retailers to identify the latest tools that will help their businesses.”

The National Convenience Show is co-located with four other events – The Ingredients Show, Foodex, the Farm Shop & Deli Show and Food & Drink Expo – the country’s premier food and drink event. Together they will bring together almost 1,500 suppliers from across the whole food and drink supply chain, from retailers to manufacturers, making it the place to do business in the industry.
